While we were in Delos, Dad and I decided to have “Fun Photo Day”. Where all of the photos we took of each other or together had to be fun in some way. So part two of Delos, is the fun photo day.
While we were waiting for the ferry and having our morning coffee one of the Mykonos pelicans decided to grace us with its presence. I was hanging out and it came pretty close so I whipped out Mow and we got our photo with the pelican. I then moved out of fear that it would try and eat mow or my croissant.
There were these benches that at one point surrounded statues to be worshiped, but for us looked like a nice place to relax.
Dad, god of Crocs.
These bulls were everywhere on the island, so this is Dad’s best bull impression.
This was when we were wandering off of the path and around the baths. There were two girls following us taking photos of each other so we did a switch off where we took one of them together and they took this one of us. We call it the “Arch de Bolla”.
There are no lawyers in Greece. This was a cistern that was left uncovered and you can see Dad and I peering down.
Mow wanted to be a lion.
So did Dad…
And then Mow and I gave our best Simba growl!
Oops! There were terracotta pots everywhere that hadn’t been picked up or hidden in the museum yet, just lying around. These two pieces clearly went together, but who knows where the rest are.
This was the top of a vase we found on the ledge of the Lake House.
Das boot! Cheers everyone!
The passage from one room of a house into a kitchen is what we gathered from this. Clearly they were all men of average height!
Just another photo of the passage. It was perfect for Dad and I, about the same size as some of the halls in the boat!
We were pressed for time, but Dad and I had a lot of fun in the theater.
To be or not to be? Mow and I put on a show…
And it put Dad to sleep.
Dad the thinker.
In this museum, again, you weren’t supposed to pose with the statues. I caught Dad looking at this one with my camera and we both saw the guy in the corner stand up like he was going to yell at us.

Hello Katie,
I was doing a google image search for a picture of Rodin's "The Thinker on a toilet" (don't ask) and I stumbled across a picture of your dad standing next to a marble bust of a Roman general on the island of Delos. The reason I am sending you a message is because for may facebook profile picture, I am standing next to the exact same statue. Although I superimposed the statue's pic on my body and vice versa. Just a strange coincidence and it made my day. My FB profile is Tom Katsadas.
Cheers,
TK
